Our second session together at Emerald North was packed with fun! Gathered around the screen, the kids SQUIGLed freely – this time exploring how simple shapes can help you see things differently.

We shared one of my favourite books from the wall with a reading of I Want a Dog, then brought the book to life by sketching the main character in our own unique styles. 🐶

To finish, we expanded our – Show ’n’ Tell section! The kids proudly held up their drawings, and the smiles said it all!

Huge news from The SQUIGL Club! 🎉 We're absolutely bursting with excitement to officially welcome Emerald North State School to the SQUIGL Club fold with the launch of their very first episode!
Led by their passionate arts advocate, the kids gathered around, buzzing with ideas, helping to shape their unique club. We chatted about the club's origins and why it exists before exploring some of the best picture books and jumping into some wonderfully free-flowing SQUIGL time that even saw me attempt my very first puppy-turtle – of course!

We've already got heaps of exciting sessions planned, and I genuinely can't wait to roll them out with this talented and eager bunch of bush kids.
